If you are frustrated with the clutter in your bathroom, there is no reason to sweat it anymore. While you may be a busy person, we have some tips that can help you organize your bathroom in 15 minutes or less. Trust us, these 16 minutes will make all the difference and you will love the counter space and room you will have.

  1. Toss What You Don’t Use

We all have a cabinet full of items we purchased with good intentions, but these items were never used. It can be difficult to throw these items away because you feel like you are tossing money right into the trash can. There are a couple of ways to handle this situation. If you do not want to simply toss the items, go through them and throw out the expired items and place all of the items you do not use to the side. Once you have gone through everything, consider donating the items you do not want or need. You could also sell them in a yard sale, if they are unopened and unused.

  1. Purchase Organizational Tools to Help You

If your bathroom is decluttered, you likely do not have the necessary organizational tools needed to organize your bathroom properly. Once you have sorted through all of your items and decided what to keep and what to toss, you should go out and purchase some organizational tools.

Items such as under the sink racks, hanging racks for towels, an over the toilet rack, and shelving can help you store additional items that you need, but do not have a place for. In addition, consider purchasing some baskets that you can place on the back of the toilet or on the counter, as these baskets can hold clean washcloths and hand towels.

  1. Start Organizing Your Items

Now it is time for you to start organizing your items. Take each item and group it with a like item to make storage easier. For example, keep all of your shampoos and conditioners together, your necessities such as toothbrushes, cotton balls, and similar together. This will help you know where your items are when you need to access them.

After you have grouped your individual items, start putting them away in a neat manner. You can keep body sprays and lotions on your wall shelves, especially if you use them on a regular basis. It is a good idea to keep additional or refill items underneath the sink in your bathroom, that way, you can get to them when you need them.

If your bathroom is a mess and unorganized, you can simplify your life and make using the bathroom easier, if you organize it. The goal of organization is to be able to easily access the items you use most and know exactly where they are without having to search forever for them. Remember, toss out old items that you no longer use and only keep items that you can and will use.
